Need some advice Thanks..Im thinking of upgrading from 2011 Ultraplus pak to 2014 Ultraplus pak..I would like to know if a slow speed wideband would cause problems downloading it or should I carry on going down the HD route Cheers Frank

What is your average mb/s download rate there?

And regardless of your Internet speed, which as Mac said is unclear, having the hard drive gives you an easy-to-use backup and the capability to move between machines. The difference in price to get the external USB hard drive loaded from PG Music is well less than it would cost to buy such a drive at the store.

Thanks Matt I pay an extra £50 to UPS on delivery thats why I was thinking about getting it as a d\load..but even paying this its still a great price for what you get

Thanks Mac after I posted I think in my mind I had already decided to carry on down the HD route..by the way my d\load speed is 4.1mb\second I think the Everything Pak download is about 80 Gb (80,000 Mb). But remember that the units of the 4.1 value you mentioned is likely to be measured in Mega-bits/sec rather than Mega-bytes/sec (8 bits = 1 byte).

You can also elect to order on DVDs and avoid the hardware tariffs of some of the other countries.
Once you have the DVD installer disks in hand, you can elect to install on an internal hard drive or onto your own external hard drive, or even both, with the main program installed to the internal drive and the RealTracks/Realdrums installed to another drive, internal or external.

thanks all for the advice..just ordered the ultraplus 2014 BIAB on HD total $325 probably an extra 70 dollars UPS charge.. in British pounds approx £239 at least £100\£150 cheaper than if I purchased it over here.

From someone who has recently done this and got stung, please be aware you may but probably will get a notice delivered to go to your nearest UPS depot to pick up your package, when there you will have to pay your VAT plus any additional handling fees. It worked out no cheaper for me, hope you have more luck.

Hi Steve,Ive had the hard drive delivered this way twice and found its about £50+unless its gone up hope not!!

I have got reasonably fast fibre broadband now with Talktalk and upgrade the ultrapak from 2012 to 14 this year. I think it was 25gb in total download all the extra stuff I didn't have.
Cost me just under £100. Its just a pity you didn't buy in sale to get the extra discount which ended on 15 January.
