There must be a way to do this, but so far I haven't found it. I will select (highlight) a section of say an audio vocal track, then with the control key click on another track or two of audo vocal, thus having highlighted the same section in each track. I will then try to move or shift this section forward or backward on all highlighted tracks at the same time. But when I try to grab and move this section, it only moves the highlighted section on the one track I grab, even if I use the shift or control key with the attempted move. Is there a way to do what I am attempting to do?

I would love to hear the answer to this one as well. You would think that if they are all highlighted, they could ALL be changed as one. That's the idea of multiple highlighting.

If you have the tracks highlighted instead of using the mouse try clicking on the from to box and type in the numbers where you want the beginning and ending point to be then the selection will automatically adjust.

Are you just using a "cut and paste" operation for this then?

Yes, cut and paste, but with the From - To feature.

say I want to copy from bar 6 to bar 20. I just first click on the snap feature,click at bar 6, hold down the left mouse button, drag to bar 20 and down across all of the tracks I want, release. Click copy , move the cursor were you want and paste.

Original poster wants to drag multiple tracks, which RB does not do at this time.
Copy/Paste procedure is best option for multiple tracks.
I think the issue with dragging has to do with unconsolidated tracks getting messed up, but have no verification on this.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

That's correct. Can only DRAG 1 track.
