Hi all,
I use PT to lay down two tracks. One is a virtual piano (Ivory) and the other is the guitar from my external keyboard (Tyros 5). When I convert to audio/wave of the guitar track (recorded from my external synth T5), the track plays in Ivory piano sound. Is it possible to convert to wave/audio of the guitar track that has the guitar as it sounds from the Tyros? Thanks! Dai

Hook up two shielded Audio cables from the 5's Audio Outputs to your sound device's L and R Line Inputs and then record the 5's performance as a stereo audio track.
The new Tyros 5 is some good great sounding and realistic instruments.

Hook up two shielded Audio cables from the 5's Audio Outputs to your sound device's L and R Line Inputs and then record the 5's performance as a stereo audio track.
The new Tyros 5 is some good great sounding and realistic instruments.
--Mac I have the Focusrite 2i2 so I need to connect the two cables from T5 out to the front of the Focusrite? That is where the guitar or microphone is connected? I love the T5 cello and I need to put this on my latest composition. Thanks Dai

Yes, be sure to use cables with 1/4" plugs that connect to the center holes of those multi-jacks, the outside of which are XLR connections for microphones and not desired for use with the already preamplified output of the T'5. --Mac

Also make sure each track is on a separate channel.
