This has happened before, but I don't recall how to fix it. When using MIDI drums, the sounds don't match the notes. For example, my high hat doesn't sound like a high hat, even though the "note " to be used is correct. How do I fix this? Thanks.

We need more information. What are you using for your drum sounds?
Some drum programs do not follow GM drums settings so a GM high hat may be assigned to something else in your drum kit.
I arrived early to a restaurant.
The manager asks, "do you mind waiting a bit?"
I said no.
"Good", he said. "Take these drinks to table 3"

I'm using a Ketron SD2, and everything has been working just fine for months. All of a sudden, the hi hat (Ab3) sounds like a low tom (A3) in the drum kit. This is just an example. Others are wrong too, but not all. My drum kit file must be corrupt or something, and I need to know how to reinstall it. At least this is what I think is wrong. Any suggestions?

Could be one of the global MIDI transposes have been invoked.
These can be kind of trying to find as they are located in so many different places now.
Whenever BIAB stops doing what it is supposed to do, always try the Opts -> Return to Factory Settings trick first, that usually brings things back without the hassle.
We can Reset RealBand, too, but we don't have the convenient one-button situation there yet.
Locate the following two files in your RealBand folder and move them out or delete them. Be sure to close down RealBand program completely first.
realband.ini. This file contains most of the global PowerTracks settings, especially the settings in the Options | Preferences and Options | MIDI Devices dialogs. It also has a list of the most recently accessed song files.
realband.cfg. This file contains information about your sound card
Then restart RealBand, it will make new files of the same name, with Factory Default settings.
