I can't recall which version changed it, but I just hooked up my WX-7 after a long hiatus, and cannot see the same level of respect it got in old versions. For some reason, no matter what MIDI in on my Ketron SD4 I select I cannot hear any patch other than piano on BIAB. I see there is there is no MID Thru on the mixer (sure would like one) but changing patches on the thru button does not seem to work like it used to. Any ideas?

OK .. Saw how to add Thru and Audio to the mixer... sorry. Still not getting patch changes, though...

PhillyJazz, make sure that the MIDI channel output of the WX-7 and/or the MIDI thru channel matches the MIDI channel input on the SD-4.
Back in my day the only time we started panic buying was when the bartender shouted "last call"!

The SD4 get sound fine. It is between the SD4 out and the BIAB thru where I am experiencing issues. BAIB is not hearing any of my MIDI events.

SD4 has TWO MIDI inputs, one is the GM synth and the other is the Solo voices.
Is this a case where you are trying to use the GM synth to play back BB MIDI tracks but want the MIDI controller to play the 2nd Solo synth on the Thru track?

I am not sure when it stopped working with BIAB. I had always use the In 2 (Voices) for my WX-7. It controls the SD4 just fine, but when I try to record with BIAB or change voices with the Thru channel I get bupkis. 0 melody recorded. It SOUNDS fine, and I can change the voices on the physical box, but it kist seems as if BIAB is not recognizing it (though Ketron shows up under MIDI devices, and they can be selected.) MIDI out from BIAB plays fine, and all patch changes work ...

Don't forget that when using USB connects, the devices must be hooked up and turned on and recognized by the OS BEFORE starting Band in a Box.
That one gets me quite frequently, as I may already have BB open and then want to use some Goodie with it. Have to Shut Down BB completely and go thru the above, even though the listings are there in the MIDI window, they aren't active if BB was started up before connecting the device.

Time to double my dose of Ginko Bilboa (or quit drinking..) I just (on a WHIM) plugged the WX-7 into the MIDI IN if the Ketron ..... DDDUUUUUUHHHHH .... Maybe I'm getting too old for this tech stuff.
