Hi all,
I have BIAB 2013 installed, and bought BIAB 2014 in December of last year on a shipped hard drive. Only now do I have the time to install and start using it. What is the best way to install both the latest BIAB and RB versions?
I'm guessing that, as RB comes with BIAB, I just need to run the BIAB installer from the hard drive, and then the latest BIAB update (which I understand to be cumulative). Is this right?
Grateful for any advice.

Just install over 2013, the setup process will take you through it . . . very easy.

Yes, use the hard drive install.
Pay close attention to the options along the way and install the program over the existing one on your system.
Then decide if you want all the realtracks on a system drive (this uses a bit of drive space) or if you want to use the external drive for these. On my main computer I have plenty of drive space so I installed them locally. On my laptop (where I am short on space) I use the supplied hard drive.
Then, after installing, go to the Support button at the top of this page and install the latest updates for both BiaB and RB.
They both have significant updates recently.

Thanks for the responses. So by just installing the hard drive version, and then the latest update, of BIAB, I'll be gettnig the latest version of RB as well, yes?
I have the 2014 UltraPlusPak (with compressed RealTracks). Any idea how many GB these RealTracks take up? While on the one hand it might save me space to use the supplied external hard drive, I also use another external hard drive for the sample libraries used by Kontakt, which is my preferred sound source. I can imagine it might be cumbersome / tricky to have to carry around two external drives and make them work together smoothly, computers being computers.

Looks like about 70 gig for realtracks
My hard drive is holding about 90 gig of data now, so if you figure 100 you'll be safe.

I installed it on my hard-drive the first time I received the HD version but after the first .5 upgrade stuck to running it straight from the HD. Reason is also that my PC has a small HD and I can also get going quicker when a new HD arrives.
I'm doing allright for Country Trash ....

Thanks gents. I think I'll be able to deal accommodate it all on my PC drive. That said, I assume that if I ever wish to go the external hard drive route that there is a straightforward way to tell BIAB where to look -- is this the case?
