Yes, use the hard drive install.
Pay close attention to the options along the way and install the program over the existing one on your system.
Then decide if you want all the realtracks on a system drive (this uses a bit of drive space) or if you want to use the external drive for these. On my main computer I have plenty of drive space so I installed them locally. On my laptop (where I am short on space) I use the supplied hard drive.
Then, after installing, go to the Support button at the top of this page and install the latest updates for both BiaB and RB.
They both have significant updates recently.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
