I just released my cd yesterday and sold 25 copies on the first day.

Thanks to those great real tracks which enabled me to do a whole one man show using them as backing tracks. People were amazed and so "to infinity and beyond." I'm exited.

Thanks all you guys who have helped me out and for your comments and suggestions and also to Rharv and Oren at masteringtmatters for their help with the mix and mastering.

Wow! 25 the first day. Most of the musicians around here just throw them out to the audience so they'll be listened to. This is exciting. Keep us abreast of things.

Congratulations. This is very good news. Of course it is also very good music!

Keep on keepin' on, Ed!

Always take along CDs to every live performance. Set up a table to sell them. This is something the wife can do, although I'll warn you right away that mine thinks that the CD sales money from gigs goes directly into her purse!

What great news Ed. Nice to complete a vision.
At what type of venue were you appearing? Obviously they enjoyed the "live" show.
Also, if you don't mind a question or two, were they self-burned and self-printed?

Any other details from which we in the masses could benefit.

Way to go.

They were pressed by Sony. A local guy here deals with them and got me a steal.
A thousand copies for $1100. Shrink wrapped, full color cover and insert with full color back cover and jewel case. Glad I didn't have to do it.

The venue was a party at a boat club. Mu music is geared towards that crowd.
I sort of crashed the party with my cd released. Hey it worked. And Mac I haven't seen any of the money my wife collected yet hmmm.

Congrats Ed

I, too, have found that 90% of CD sales happen at performances. Covers the tab some nights..pays the bills other nights..
Glad it all came together for you on time.
