How does one enter Ebmaj sharp 4 (aka Ebdelta+4) in BIAB? What I'm looking for is the BIAB chord translation table -- you know, if you want A half diminished, enter Am7b5 (probably got that wrong, sorry) -- that I know I've seen but can't find right now. Would some kind soul point me in the right direction please?

You'll have to type in Ebmaj9#11 For Am7b5 type in Ah Later, Ray

Try Ebmaj7b5 -- same thing.
Typing "h" after the chord name - as in "Ah" - is a shortcut to entering the Am7b5 or half-diminished chord.

Hi Bob. Yes, as Mac said, Xmaj7b5 works.
I normally write that chord in a chart as Xmaj7#11, but as Ray pointed out, you have to enter it as Xmaj9#11 since BIAB doesn't support Xmaj7#11.
However, you can enter Xmaj7#11 as a shortcut for Xmaj9#11 (or for Xmaj7b5 if you prefer that sound) to prevent data entry stumbles.
The two files you are looking for are pgshortc.txt which explains the technique (such as why "h" works), and references you to shortcut.txt where you enter your own chord shortcuts. Both are in the /BB folder. Enjoy!

Not sure if you mean to include the seventh (D). Assuming you do, Dsus/Eb will do it too (omitting the expendable 5th degree).
