What I want to do . . . in PTPA 13

EX: Track 5, channel 10 drums. Event CC10 @ 0, far left.
Track 6, channel 10 drums. Event CC10 @ 127, far right.

Can I set track 6 to a different bank so I can do this?
If so, can you point me in the right direction to get started?
Banks have me a bit confused. Not what they are. But how to
use them in PTPA.

Or is there another way to have some drums play on the left
and others play on the right? Other than rendering the tracks.
I want Crash2, tambourine, maraccas and congas on the right track, the
rest of the drums on the left.
