The 'lower' quality files are compressed to 160kbps. For most people, the difference is undetectable. Of course, there are audiophile forums (and some here) that say they can hear the difference. Personally, I don't think I could. The only argument I would consider is if you plan on making CDs from your tracks. For live performance, stick with the standard WMA files.
