A real bass player if confronted with ... A/C# Cdim would probably not make the jump up of a major 7th (C# up to a C natural), but would almost always simply travel down a half step ... C# C natural.
It would be great to invoke 'half step preference' in situations such as this.
I use this program for simple tracks (bass and drums) for me to play against.
