This may be a "no brainer", but I don't want to mess up my purchased BIAB. How do I remove the demo version without messing up BIAB & Real Band? I went to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel (WIN XP). I see the BIAB Demo, but I don't see anything for BIAB. I know they are installed in different directories bbdemo vs bb). Just want to be on the safe side.

Just remove the demo.
BIAB proper does not write to the registry, a cool feature IMO, if you ever do want to remove it you can just drag its entire folder to the trashcan and gone.
Likewise, if you ever have to copy BB, just copy the folder.
The only things that need to be installed to registry are the fonts, DX effects and the VSC if you choose to use VSC for your MIDI output.
All the rest of BIAB is designed to run as a standalone .exe.

In the Add/Remove programs, if it says "Band-in-a-Box ... Demo", then that's the one. Alternatively, go to Start menu | Programs | Band-in-a-Box Demo | Uninstall Band-in-a-Box Demo. Or you could click on the uninst..exe in the bbdemo folder. Or you could just delete the bbdemo folder like Mac said - that would get rid of everything (except for the program shortcut).
