Yes, I know that. I was in fact looking forward to buying a multitrack recorder, at least a portable one like the Zoom H(xy) series. But my budget is too tight for that right now.
Besides, this is part of my rehearsal band. I think I should just record it in one channel, as a jam session, because that's what it's going to sound like when it's time for us to perform for an audience. Look into purchasing a Tascam DP-24 or 32. I use the 24, and could not ask for more professional flexibility or quality. The cost is only $500. I use a Zoom H4n and it is amazing! Excellent recording quality and awesome multi-track features!
