Hi there,
i am trying to install BiaB on two Computers for one person.
So when he is working on Station one all things should be saved and synced to Station two.
So when he starts to work there it should be the same as on station one..
What is needed to build this solution?
Do i need to sync everything or is there a special folder with data?

Welcome to the forum.
I don't know of a BIAB-specific solution here, but you could use Dropbox. Files there are kept in sync for any device you use Dropbox on.

Thanks for your reply..
Thats what i thought about. But do i need to sync everything or just specific folders?
I know nothing from BiaB. My function is installing software and maintance.
Where are the "songs" saved?

Songs are saved where you tell them to be saved. If you are disciplined, you'll have a folder or folders you consistently save to; if you are not, then your songs could end up anywhere on the hard disk. You can save to the BIAB folder (nothing keeps you from doing that), but good practice generally says you never save your data to the program folder.
My two computers are networked together (using the gigabit network cards through a switch on a private network not visible to the wireless network for browsing, printing, etc). I then use a batch file with the robocopy command to synch my data. (I also do a similar batch file to do my backups). Robocopy comes with Windows Vista and above, but I believe you can download it for XP.

Thank you very much, thats what i thought...  I will try to convince the user to save it to onedrive folder and load his files from there.. Lets see how it works.. Beside, did anyone try to install the hole data to a onedrive and start from that?

If both machines are in the same Network, you could also use one machine as "the master" with a folder where you store all your BIAB-Songs and allow access on your lokal Network for your second machine to this folder.
I personaly have a NAS-Storage with 2 disks in raid 1 - mode. This way i'm save in case a disk fails as it writes everything on both disks. All my user data like song-files from BIAB are stored on the NAS-System.
If you two machines are not in the same Network, than a cloud-storage like dropbox or OneDrive as Matt mentioned is a good solution.

I use a program called Synchronize It! It can keep folders, computer etc in synch based on latest file date, can copy in either direction, only copies later/updated files, has lots of useful filters and more. Compares by Date & Size, Date or Content, Content, Size Only It keeps all my music drives in synch, and I use it for backup for off-site storage etc. It also has compare tools features for comparing the content of files.

Some good ideas here.
BIAB is best supplied on its own external hard drive. In case you didn't know, your client has the option of doing a minimal install on each PC and just run the program from that external drive as he takes it from machine to machine. As mentioned, you may save your songs anywhere (or, to put it another way, there is no required location), so the songs could be saved to a folder you make on the external drive. Perhaps make a backup of songs on each PC for safety.
