A chord can be specified as a Shot by adding two periods after the chord.
C. is a rest
C..is a Shot.
C... is a Held Chord
The Caret will give a push, and two dots will give the Shot
Try this in the required bar, specify a comma then the Chord (the comma puts it on beat two), precede the chord with a caret (gives it a push) and append 2 dots to create a Shot.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
