Whenever BIAB stops doing things that it used to do, I use the Opts -> Return to Factory Settings command to have BIAB rewrite the critical and volatile file that gets corrupted.
This move solves a LOT of problems like the ones mentioned in this thread.
Also -- make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest Patch Update from the Support page. Those updates also solve many problems.
