http://mooheadradio.com/music/religiondemo.ogg Moohead Radio Hello. It's been awhile! This is a demo of a new song I've composed. I am employing a Lexicon MX300 reverb unit, an AKG c1000s mic, Dimensions Pro soft synth, Melodyne and Sonar 8 Producer. This is a raw demo. I hope you enjoy this one. This demo is in a .ogg extension. I no longer work in mp3. It will natively play in the new Firefox 3.5 or in any OGG capable player. Moo
If it has four legs and moos...it MIGHT be Mr Moohead.

I don't really get it either! I just write words that match a picture in my head. I guess it's more about the "feel" of a song. Thanks for your comments.

A very good song, I like the sounds on this Moo, especially the drums; an excellent mix. Backing vocals are a great hook and adding the female vox is a great touch. Tweaks? Only my personal ones, (i) I'd put the female vox a lot further back in the mix, so it's etheral, kind of 'mysterious and almost heard'. (ii) I'd add a tiny tad of reverb to the main vocal to make it sound like it's in the same space as the the backing, (iii) try a quiet, smooth stereo pad starting at the middle eight at 1:54 to give the new section a lift. There may be problem with the upload? The track stops abruptly on my player (Nero) at 3:59.

Mike: I use Winamp and that plays OGG files ok.
moo: Your song has a great a feel. I'm not sure what to make of the lyrics but the overall effect is good listen to.

These are good points. The female vocal needs more "air" and needs to be toned down. And the bridge needs to be filled in. I have a guitar part waiting to be executed to help this out. Pad's not a bad idea.
The track does die at 3:59. I was too lazy to fade the demo!!!! Thanks to everyone for their comments on this.

Overall - sure liked it - lyrics are a bit odd - but I'm sure there was a reason.
Well Done
