maybe i'm an idiot but i want and need a metronome function. a metronome is basic. it's shocking to me this program, that is so sophisticated, does not have a metronome! i want a metronome that is easy to use, prominent in the User Interface. all teachers recommend a metronome. why doesn't this program have one that is decent? the metronome should be able to be used by itself, with play back, with recording, everything. it's a real drawback not having a useable metronome.

thanks for the screen shot. i still consider what you sent/showed me to be a primitive form of a metronome. the other issue is that i use a mac, and the "metronome" function you have on windows is better than the pitiful, basically non-existent metronome function on the mac version; i will attach a screen shot of the "metronome" function on my mac:

but the essential difference is that the windows "metronome" works during playback, while on the mac version the "metronome" only works during recording.
but overall, PG should create a robust helpful, useful, accessible metronome right on the main screen, it should not be buried in menus.
it's incredible that a music program like BIAB does not offer this type of metronome! just incredible! it would be SO helpful!
