I don't know what uTube video demo you watched. Perhaps you may want to try Movist a media player with a high-quality caption feature and more. It costs about 5bucks. https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/27642/movistAlso have you tried to open the video in Band in a Box ? I use all three programmes ( not at the same time ) but for different reasons depending on the project.
