If you want to use an AUX buss in this manner, just go to mixer view and use the AUX send dial for the three tracks you want to send to the given buss .. and reduce them on the main mix. (also make sure the other one track is adjusted opposite)
Generally you need three audio tracks to use this feature this way, as MIDI tracks have different dials in the mixer. You said this was the case..
As for designating pre/post, I think that's a negative.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
