The last time I tinkered with band in the box was with version 11 and 12. I recently purchased 2009 Ultra pack. Just wondering if latest enhancements allow you to transpose the chord sheet on the main screen of the program , so that you can play along with C instruments while reading a chord chart for a B flat instrument

Yes, if you do the Tranpose inside the Notation Window, Opts first, using the dropdown window near the center, select the instrument or number of half steps and both notation and chords will change.
You can then click back to the Chord Grid and the Chords are in the transposed key also, yet still play in the original Concert pitch the song was saved in.
An addition to 2009.5 is that we now have a yellow notice that pops up when you start BIAB up again and that kind of transpose is still invoked, to remind us that we won't be viewing in Concert pitch unless we go back to the above and change it back again. Nice feature.
