This program was written long before DXi technology synths were a gleam in the eye of developers.

Therefore it does not support DXi nor VSTi technology directly.

There may be workarounds, such as running a Virtual MIDI Cable software *and* a DXi/VSTi synth player software at the same time, but having tried such things I must warn you that it can be a real pain to have to get all that working -- and then go through it all each time you want to use the program.

Use of a good sounding hardware MIDI synth via a standard MIDI connect hardware such as USB-to-MIDI or the like, is by far the easiest way to get great sounds plus zero latency and very easy operation here. Check out the Ketron SD2 Orchestral Wizard, sold by pgmusic also. Great sounds, ease of operation, compatible with the program.
