OK, so I am still waiting for someone to report something unique and successful which can now be accomplished with this new feature. I have not yet updated, so certainly someone can tell me if both notation and chord symbols can be exported to a notation program.

What I am seeing in this tread is not giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

I'm certainly no expert on MusicXML, but I can see its advantages for porting music across different platforms and using it for different purposes.

As far a just looking at a printed score, using BiaB's own native music chart displays and using MuseScore to open an exported XML file give similar results, but that's a very simplistic view, because MusicXML opens up a whole new dimension in portability and flexibility, far beyond printing scores.

You might 'simplistically' look at MusicXML as something like Super Enhanced MIDI, because everything musical can be communicated, not just note and control events etc. Chords, Lyrics, Expression symbols, Key signatures, and more can be transmitted that aren't currently able to be sent by MIDI.

HTH somewhat.
