When editing an audio track I double click on the track to open the 'Audio Edit Window'. If I select a bar or two of audio within the Audio Edit window and then click on the right arrow key on the Audio Edit window, I would expect the audio to advance one or two bars to the right. What happens instead is the audio advances multiple bars to the right and the selected portion of the track is sometimes moved completely off screen. After this initial 'jump', the left and right arrow keys on the audio edit window work normally. The same thing happens with the left arrow key on the audio edit window.
I can leave this same track open and duplicate the problem by just highlighting another section of the audio track and clicking on either the left or right arrows on the audio edit window.
I think this issue has been around previous to this build but it is rather annoying to me as I often have to edit my audio tracks.
Thank you for considering a fix for this!
Del

Thanks Del, yet another anomaly you and I seem to be the only ones who notice. It happens here even when I use the bottom scroll bar controls in the Audio Edit window, and happens on multiple machines in multiple locations...and previous 3 versions.
I've brought this up in previous years and Jeff could not duplicate it. At least now I know its not me accidentally double clicking or a bad mouse.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome Make your sound your own!

Yes, I've seen it on multiple machines and versions over the past few years also. I'm using the scroll bar controls also. It definitely doesn't act correctly in my opinion.

If I'm reading the problem correctly, I get this on my computer as well. I haven't tried it in 2016, but it definitely happened in previous versions of RealBand.

Ian, I haven't used any other DAW so Realband is the deal for me. All in all it has served me well over the years and I have about 200 songs now created with BIAB & Realband. What do you use for a DAW? Del

The important thing for support to note is that it is only on the first click in either direction after moving the cursor.. after that it is fine.

Can't seem to duplicate it. Left/Right arrow keys always seem to advance or back up by 1 beat in the song. Haven't been able to get it to advance or backup other than that amount.
Thanks.

Jeff, Perhaps you are using the keyboard left/right arrow keys? I'm speaking about the arrow buttons at the bottom of the audio edit window where the scroll bar is located. I tested again and can duplicate this issue with any song. I created a new song using the defaults in RB and it is only 32 measures long. I entered chords then generated the entire song. From the tracks window, I double clicked on the real drums track which opens the audio edit window I highlight measure 13 by click and drag with the mouse (This measure happened to be in the approximate center of the audio edit window). Then I clicked the left arrow button at the bottom of the audio edit window. The highlighted measure moves about 3/4 of the way to the left side of the audio edit window. It should have moved one measure or so to the right but it went left 4 measures instead. Subsequent clicks on the left arrow button move the highlighted measure to the right within the audio edit window as it should. This is very annoying when trying to cut and paste within the audio edit window.

I can duplicate this behaviour.
The arrows in the window advance about 3 beats in either direction. The arrows on the keyboard advance 1 beat in either direction.
Shift-Left or Shift-Right move the cursor to the beginning of the track.

Yeah, in my case it's not the keys, its the scroll bar arrows on the screen (or scroll bar itself).
