I'm a little frustrated. I can't figure out why it says under "what add-ons do I have," that I'm missing a ton of RealTracks. I first got suspicious when I tried to load a few songs and the pop-up says I'm missing the required RealTracks for that/those songs.
I've re-loaded them three times from the 2016 Ultra Plus-Pak hard drive. No matter what I do, it seems I can't load all the ones I'm supposed to have.
I bought the 2016 Ultra Plus-Pak upgrade, I had the 2015 version, and installed it on a new system after switching back to Windows 7 Pro from Windows 10 and reinstalling all my programs.
Was I supposed to install this over my old 2015 version? I thought it was a complete system on the PG hard drive, so I could start over with a totally clean install.
Here's what it says I'm missing. This is very long - I'm just showing all the stuff it says I don't have - but why? I thought I'd have every Real Tracks set made:

Do you have multiple drives? I store my RT's on a HD other than the main "C" drive. There's an option somewhere, (sorry, I don't remember where), that allows you to tell BiaB where the RT's are located.
One of the pro's will jump in here shortly.

Yes, there is a setting in Preferences, RealTracks to specify a custom location. You have to do the same thing in Preferences, RealDrums if they are also on a different drive from the program.

Did you run the Setup on the 2016 hard drive and choose 'option 2' for the Band-in-a-Box install?

No, I picked option 3 to put the whole thing on my PC. After I found I was missing some realtracks, I reloaded picking option 4 (custom), and only picked to load RealTracks. It went about its business, and an hour later I had the same results. BTW, curious as to why you asked if I used option 2 as I'm not missing all the realtracks. Just the ones posted in my first email. Bob S. Florida

Not sure why that would be. Try just copying the bb folder from the external HD (just a regular copy and paste in Windows Explorer). That will probably take 1-2 hours to copy the whole thing.

I'll give that a shot. Didn't know I could do that - thought I had to use the setup program. Piece of cake if I can just copy the realband folder over.
One other thing. Could there be some missing realtracks because I bought the upgrade hard drive instead of like if I were a new buyer?

No, your hard drive is the full program, that wouldn't be the reason.

I had some RealTracks missing on my desktop. They were present on my laptop. The "fun" part came when the downloaded file did install the folder but not the content -- and refused to install it. (I tried it more than once.)
I downloaded the file again using the new downlad manager for the desktop and installed it. It didn't run the install, probably (?) because it showed the status "installed". Btw, the newly downloaded is even larger than the one I downloaded first.
I simply copied the files from my laptop to the desktop and everything was there.
