While the chords are not available in the song memo, another quick feature is to open the Big Lyrics, where the chords are displayed. You can then CLICK Print the Big Lyrics window, Select Options (such as exclude all but chords, uncheck Double Space), and then CLICK the Copy to Clipboard button. Open the Memo dialog, and paste into the left hand side. This is handy in that you can add additional text/notes here if desired.
While the vertical bars are not present, the chords are appropriately spaced (assuming the memo window is sized accordingly.
