HI everybody,
I think I saw it in another thread that I need to have powertracks 12.0 to get the tc-helicon plugin in realband-is this correct?.
Also what is the diffence between the audio harmonizer in biab and tc-helicon or does biab not have one?

Both PowerTracks and BIAB use the TC-Helicon harmonizer. You can now use it in RealBand, but you have to have PowerTracks installed in order to do so. I suspect it all probably comes down to a licensing arrangement (which is probably why TC-Helicon wasn't in RealBand in the first place).
So, if you want to use TC-Helicon in RealBand, you'll need to already have (or purchase) PowerTracks 12 and make sure the Releasse 12 patch is also installed. Once you do that, it works transparently in RealBand, the same way it does in PowerTracks.
$49 to purchase PTPA Version 12 the first time; $29 to upgrade from a previous version. So, for that price, you get to use the harmonizer in RealBand.

Thanks for that. Please excuse all my questions on this but does anyone know if its possible to use the tc-helican within cubase sx or is it just useable with pg products?

It is not a vst, so it is a PG only deal i beleive

The TC Heliconm once installed, is only available for use within certain pgmusic products.
I'm pretty sure that is due to licensing issues.

While this topic is being discussed - I have RB2009.5 and PT12 ver 12 but cannot find the TC Helicon "h" in the RealBand toolbar.
It is in the PT12 toolbar and works well when I open a .seq file in PT12, but does not seem to be "transparent" or accessible from RB (or am I misunderstanding the new RB2009.5 features - I thought you could access it directly from RB).

I take it that you have discovered that TC Helicon is located under the Track menu rather than being the shortcut "h" seen in BIAB and PT.
