I use my desktop as my main work computer to generate song sheets with lyrics and chords, chords with hash marks, and musical scores. I save all this work on my desktop as my main repository (backed up as well). I then move this information into folders on my tablet. Here is a problem I encountered. Every time I copied the lyric sheets into the tablet I would get some lyrics that when I opened them the lines would be disjointed. After trial and error I realized my tablet must not be recognizing some of the fonts that were used in my original documents (from Chordie, Guitar Guy, etc). In my particular situation, through trial and error I discovered that "Lucidia Console" was a compatible font. So I just re-saved all my orignal work in that font before copying in to my tablet. I must say I love this part of new technology. Like a lot of you I had multiple binders of songs that I did with different performers. They took up space, cumbersome to edit, and a big footprint on stage. Hopefully this info may help someone, DennisD
