What is the additional hard drive space that the new real and drum tracks require? I prefer to run the program onboard instead of externally. I am running 2009 ultra pak now. if I order the $99 DVD how much more of my C drive is it going to consume?

I've got BIAB 2009.5 with essentially all the bells and whistles, just added Jazz 2, but not Country 2 or Rock 2 real tracks. Most of my realtracks have been saved as .wav so this tends to increase there size on disk. The BIAB folders is at about 200 G.
I added an external 500 G dedicated to BIAB and no longer worry about space on my C drive.

The total size of the previous Band-in-a-Box (2009) was 40GB.
If you get all of the new RealTracks (101), the total size will be about 74GB. (This will leave 6GB free on a 80GB drive)

The program also comes on a 160GB USB portable (no AC plug required) hard drive , with the software pre-installed, ready-to-play. Either 40 GB or 74GB of the 160 are used by BB (40GB for Ultra version, 74 GB for UltraPlus version), so you've got room for other things, or future BB versions.

I already have the hard drive from the 2009 release. What should I purchase on this occasion.If I purchase another hard drive will the full program be installed on it as before. If I purchase the DVD will I have to add the DVD contents to my existing hard drive.Thanks,Aidan.

Yes, you would have to install them there, but be advised that if your hard drive is the 80gb that pgmusic shipped 2009 on, it will barely be enough room to hold the ~74-75gb size that is needed once all the updates are installed.
If you don't have another USB drive with more room on it, I recommend purchasing the upgrade because it now comes with a 160gb USB drive and everything already installed on it.
Of course, if you have no drive space issues, then you could indeed order the DVD disks and install them yourself to whatever drive you like.
