If I follow you correctly ..
You say the Upper half was dots and Lower was Waveform.
In RB the Waveform is on the top of an expanded track view and the dots (Nodes) are below.
Were the 'dots' actually from the bottom half of the track above?
Otherwise your explanation confuses me and a screen shot would be worth a bundle.
