Hi rharv, thanks fot your helpfulness and sorry for my belated reply. No, unfortunately I can’t post a screen shot: I saw that track, was mislroutede by what I thought I was seeing, searched a while for a solution and finally removed that track, re-imported the orgininal MIDI track and converted it to an empty track. And no, I definitely did not expand the track and thus saw the velocity track. I am sure that it was like I described it: It was a stereo track the upper of channel which must have had very little input. And if you’re eyesight’s as poor as mine (in fact les than 10%) things look like dots very easily  . Still very embarrassing that I started this topic due to that... Thanks again, Stefan
