Since you're about to pull your hair out, I'll throw this out there. Because of another program I was running, I found that after I had upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10, Windows 10 changed my access permissions to files in my User folder. The program I was running set its temp folder to "..\Users\MyName\Temp" or something like that; however, it didn't let me save anything there. It was driving me crazy. So I had to go through a whole bunch of folders an take ownership of them (the upgrade had apparently removed or changed my ownership). Once I did that, everything worked fine.

I'm just wondering if it's not letting you write to the BB folder, which means you can't reset the "rebuild StyleList" flag. You might want to check your BIAB folder to see if that might be the problem. Here is a short tutorial on doing that.

Of course, I would make note of whatever settings are already in place in case you need to go back. However, it worked for me.

Just a thought, since nothing else seems to be working.
