It can be done with certain soundcards that have Direct Monitoring feature.

Look at your soundcard's Recording Properties, depending upon mfr, it might be called different things, but there may be an input that will Record what is being played back on the Wav bus. "What U Hear" or "Stereo Mix" or "Wave" or something else. If all else fails, try each Recording input selection one at a time to see if you can do this.

The problem with this method is that if you have any backing tracks to play along with, they will get recorded to the track also. A multiple-input/multiple output soundcard can solve this problem by use of proper signal routing by the track.
