Harv do you use Multi Riff? That's when it happens. And only then. I made sure that the menu item was not checked (it never was, but I selected and deselected) and it still creates those MIDI event tracks that I then have to delete.

Whether the other generate functions create MIDI tracks is of no consequence. We just want this one to not do so.

I find that the support has slipped quite a bit. Whether PG grew too fast and the mail volume has increased to where the same amount of people can't keep up or whatever, the last thing I had to contact support about was responded to by a cut and pasted script that was straight from the help files. Well, I have been reading for most of my 65 years. I can do that myself. And as a bonus, it barely addressed what the actual issue was, and offered a band aid rather than a fix. Candidly, had I offered that type of response to a customer in my days at help desks, I would have been reprimanded and possibly sent to retraining. "Reset to original" simply can't be the answer to everything. If I had to keep "resetting" Windows, how would that fly? Software has to be cookie cutter, where the 1st copy works the same as the 100th and the 5000th. There is no such thing as Real Band just for Eddie in Ohio. (Though if there was, it would have user assigned hotkeys. Like ctl+alt+G for Gain Change or ctl+alt+D for delete track with no context menus. I don't need to be told that my tracks will all move up one EVERY TIME I delete one track in the middle of the chart.)
