When I bought BIAB 2009 I installed the whole thing to hard drive and just kept the usb drive as a backup. So, now I upgraded to 2009.5 and downloaded all the files and ran the installation to drive c:, which is where I run BIAB.

Next I wanted to put the new stuff on the USB drive so my backup would be the most recent version. What is the best way to do this? I tried just copying the BB directory and the REALBAND directory to overwrite the directories of the same name on the USB drive, but almost immediately windows told me there wasn't enough room.

I have read here on the forum that the drive SHOULD hold the upgrade... I haven't added any files to the drive , and in fact have deleted some of the videos. I assume the problem is that windows is not accounting for the space that is duplicated in files of the same name?

would it be better to :

1) delete everything on the USB drive and copy the BB and REALBAND directories to it?
2) rerun the installation files but send the output to the USB drive this time?
3) some other option, not yet named?
