BIAB has been my music teacher for years. I just wish I had more time to date her. I love the support I get here (even though this is my first post) I wasn't getting any sound so I came here and typed "No Sound" I was sent to a tutorial and problem was fixed in 5 minutes. Thank you music teacher.

She's been my teacher for years also.
Kudos to you for taking the initiative to find and use the already published resources by which people can find solutions to many problems, rather than posting here and waiting for replies, it can serve you much faster and often much better in the long run.

I would like for more lurkers to register, give us a region, country, and speak up.
I think the program is more pervasive than we think.
I like your approach. So many people use the software for 3 minutes and post some crazy question that is basic, and it sticks in my craw.
And every once in a while a prodigy arises. If the organiz(s)ation takes a hint and uses the new guy from S.A. who did the midi guitar the world is their oyster. I think that was the best thing I saw or heard on here in a long time, (of course deferrring to Miles and the Gannons.) The software is mature, amazing, and going to soon be the talk of the music world.
I got the new version in a nice fancy box, with the hard drive embossed, with Band in a Box in gold on a black hard drive, and I am impressed. And I have big diskettes, small diskettes, CDs, DVDs and now 2 hard drives and this thing is going places.
I wish I was 20. Maybe instead of spending so many years going sitting in meetings, going to autopsies, sifting crimes scenes, I might have been making music, my real love. Well other than wife, kids, grandson, the bush, etc.

Good post, John. I agree completely especially that guitarist, what a player. Sadly, you're old meetings, crime scenes etc are what gave you your nice retirement. Being a music pro probably would not have done that. Back in the day I made it further than most and still I was not even close to having a real career and had to give it up. I was reading an interview with Phil Woods and he said it was almost criminal that colleges and universities encourage young people to get degrees in music. Literally thousands graduate every year, a lot of them are totally awesome players with nowhere to go. Complete waste of time and resources in the modern world.
