Having a hard time with realband setup in new computer. I use a podxt into a tascam 2x2 audio interface. Never had any problems. Tascam tells me to use an asio driver and it creates a delayed response. I play and sound is late. If I switch back to mme I cannot get any recording input into realband. I also get a code 4 error message that a wav file is being used when none are playing. Could someone please just go over the audio setup to see if I am doing something incorrect?

Hi Rich,
Some questions...
1. What version of RB do you have?
2. What is your operating system and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?
3. What ASIO driver do you use?
4. If the answer to (3) is not ASIO4ALL, have you tried using ASIO4ALL?
5. Have you tried reducing your buffer setting on you ASIO driver to see what impact that has on the latency you are experiencing?

Do not recall seeing asio4all as an option.
I adjusted the buffer but still here latency coming from computer speakers although my drivers output is set for Monitors. If I use mme The problem goes away but for some reason I am not getting any input signal if I attempt to record.

Got recording input working but for some reason the sound keeps coming out of my computer speakers as well as my monitors. The computer speakers sound is also delayed. I should only be hearing the pre-recorded backing track or nothing at all in the computer speakers if I am playing solo guitar. Cannot figure this out,

Problem solved. Had to uncheck allow Windows to listen to device under recording devices tab.

Problem solved. Had to uncheck allow Windows to listen to device under recording devices tab. Sorry, I started to post this solution last night, then had an emergency come up and forgot to finish. Like Noel I'm glad it worked out. As for the emergency, all is well.
