Personally, I reckon all the automagic doodads contribute to our road toll. Body goes to sleep 'cos it has nothing to do, then "wham", an emergency occurs and you can't react fast enough 'cos the body won't respond...

The vast majority of our population lives in cities - take NSW - around 6 million people - 5 million live in Sydney, another 1/2 million plus live in 2 or 3 major centres - automatics are popular.

Small cars are usually manuals, but large cars are auto's. A manual is a special order...
