I transfer my waves from RB to Sonar. In Sonar, I can add EQ plugins to the tracks to flavor the sound as needed.
Using this plugin method for EQ does NOT write the effect to the track unless you "Process Audio". This allows you to hear the effect and still remove or change it before you export/mix down to a wave.
