You can use Bar Settings to mute any RealTrack for any number of bars while another plays.
Behind the scenes the entire RealTrack is still being generated, it is just muted at selected intervals.
Sometimes you can mute a soloist a bar or two late while still bringing the other in where it is supposed to change and get that overlap thing goin' on, like two live players might do at a gig for the handoff, too.
