This doesn't tell us your resolution.

Not the resolution on the 40" screen, but on the computer.
The computer controls what the monitor displays as far as resolution.
If your screen resolution on the computer is 768 height, you may not see more tracks regardless of the screen size, as the computer video card determines this.

The screen would just make it bigger but not add more space.
Your comment on your icons being huge leads me in this direction.
