It will Render any MIDI tracks using the DXi synth. But I just let it go ahead and do that in order to quickly render any multiple realtracks sometimes.

Moat times, I export the realtracks one at a time and then go ahead and export MIDI tracks over to RealBand. In there, I record the SD2 tracks to audio track, along with any realtracks.


The current "Render" method of BIAB is confusing. People don't understand that it only works right when using a DXi MIDI synth. That will quickly "render" both MIDI and Audio tracks to a stereo wav file. But if you are using a Hardware MIDI Synth like the SD2, you are going to have to RECORD its output from beginning to end of song in order to hear what the SD2 is doing in the finished audio file. There is not quick way to "render" when using an external synth.
