I'm looking for a great third party sampled upright bass that I want to use to recreate the bass line for All About That Bass. I'm not looking fort a bowed bass, I'm looking for a pizzicato bass. Keep in mind that I do not own the full version of Kontak yet.

The "best" is probably not free. I'm looking for a great third party sampled upright bass ......... I do not own the full version of Kontak yet. I'd suggest that you make that investment soon. You will have all the basses you need and they all sound really good. Kontakt is a professional level synth. You can use it quite successfully to do professional level work that passes muster with instrument sound quality.

Yes, the Trilian is great.
It's just a shame that it was nearly impossible to understand what the presenter was saying.
