I believe there's a "recent styles" used window in the style picker. You can easily load your favorite style from there. I think there might even be a favorites tab where you can keep your most commonly used styles ... I think I've seen that but not 100% sure.
Just be careful when you save the file as you close it. Since there will be a change, it will ask if you want to save the file. If you click yes, it will save it with the new style and the original style will be replaced. That's OK if you can remember the style name so you can reload it if you want to return to the first one.
