Hello all,
I have been looking at the jammer pro software and have to admit that biab is light years ahead, but maybe those who are familiar with jammer can answer this question (as I can't even find a user group for them)
How do you get a nice hold ending like biab? There are a number of endings sometimes maybe even only one included for each style and even holds for some styles but is there a way in jammer to get a nice hold ending like biab is capable of?
Hope the webmaster permits this question as I can assure everyone biab is so so much better.

Most of us who at one time purchased Jammer have let it languish away.
It just can't keep up with what BIAB can do, and that's what I decided about it long before RealTracks came along.
You've also noticed the lack of help support, evidenced by your trying to get an answer on a forum hosted by the competition. That should speak volumes to you also.
Just my opinion, but them hippies got old fast.

I haven't used Jammer in ages, but as I recall, what I did was, import the finished midi to my daw or if you have the piano roll editor in your version of jammer you can use that. Then go in and edit note by note the ending you want. If you can use a piano roll editor, you got it made.
I kinda like some of the very flexible parameters that jammer offers, it's just not as advance as BIAB, but it has it's place for an extra tool.

If there isn't one you make your own. I also haven't used jammer for some time. They have a lot of musicians that do holds. Not to hard as I remember.

Much of what I did with JAMMER was the foundational recording tracks. Then, like Matt, I went in and manually edited any part I wanted to tweak via Finale. True, the software is light years behind BIAB. The feature I like about JAMMER is the challenge of still needing to write rather than have written for you. There are times where it is fun to take and expand the idea a little more and enjoy the fact that you spent all those years learning music so you can apply it to something!  Having preformed arrangements is nice too. Sometimes, its ideas are far better than anything I would have conceived of. It is nice to have both.
