I am making wav files from BIAB. It cuts the last couple of notes off the end of the song. When I render it I click to add (5) seconds to the end of the song but it doesn't seem to do anything. I searched the forum for something on this. I vaguely rem something about adding a chord to 2nd bar of the ending but that doesn't seem to do anything either. BIAB 2008. Sd2. Media Player for playback. Has this been fixed for 09?

Well. this one I figured out. It has a melody & the melody had a whole note (?) that seemed to go on forever. So after a ton of reading I was able to figure out how to shorten the duration of the note. There must be an easier way to change note characteristics than reducing the duration. Like,,, take this note out & put this note in. I am a not sight reader so thanks for the patience. Usually the melody is done by me solely on guitar once I get everything (backing track) over to the recording software.

Hi TGV,
I find that the easiest way to adjust the most important characteristics of notes (velocity and duration) is to use Notation View (cntrl+W) and then to use Staff Roll Notation Mode. By using the right mouse button, "Staff Roll Notation Mode" makes it possible to simply drag duration and velocity so that one gets the note-length or note-volume that suits. It's worth learning this technique, in my opinion.

Either way is good, though I tend to use Noel's version
