I have an old effects unit that I bought years ago. I used to use it on my old Yahama 4 track recorder - a pretty neat machine in it's day. Of course I'm digital recording now. But... just for experiment/fun purposes, I'd like to fool around with this unit.
It is a "Zoom Studio 1202". I am using a Behringer Xenyx 1202fx mixer (which has it's own effects... 99 of em).
All of the inputs/outputs on the effects unit are in the back... here's what it has, going left to right:
Effect on/off (I'm pretty sure this is for a foot switch)
Output: R and L
Input: R and L/MONO
Is it possible to hook this unit up to my mixer, and if so, would anyone know how I would do it?

Output R & L would go into one of your stereo channels on the mixer
Or if you want to use it as an effects unit for any channel, you would send the mixers aux sends out to the 1202 inputs, and then the output from the 1202 would come back into the 'return' on the mixer
Then the Aux send dial on each channel would control how much signal went to the 1202 (per channel)
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.
After hooking it up and trying it, I remembered why I got it so cheap back in the time. It doesn't even compare with the effects I can use right out of the mixer. Oh well... at least I tried.
