I would like to see a new version of Realband that incorporates all of the features of Power Tracks Pro. It would be much simpler and Power Tracks could be eliminated as a stand alone program.

RealBand IS the same engine as Powertracks Pro.
Same look and feel, sharing the same controls in the same places.
Only difference is that RealBand has the addition of the BIAB autoaccompaniment engine and its Chord Sheet, Stylepicker, things like that.
I haven't used my Powertracks since RealTracks came out, I do everything in RealBand now, the transition was totally transparent because they are much the same.

One thing missing in Realband is harmonizing. I had to buy Powertracks Pro and install it even if I don't use it. Then Realband can harmonize. Take care.

but you can do that in BB and then open that saved file with RB, right?

Export as separate audio tracks might be the better choice, but basically, the answer is yes.
Opening a .mgu.sgu file in RealBand in a version that that does not have the TC Harmonizer available from also having Powertracks and I don't think that the program would be able to recreate the harmonized files from scratch. Exporting them as separated wav files and then importing them into RealBand would certainly work, though, same end result, maybe better because you would be getting exactly what you already heard rather than a re-regeneration.
