On the surface, it appears you cannot do it. But there are workarounds.

You could set the substyle to A, freeze the bass track, and change the substyle to B. When you play back the song, you will hear A in the bass and B elsewhere.

Another trick is to select the Bass A RealTrack, instead of the B or the changing (full) track, assuming that RealTrack has that choice. Then no matter which part marker, the bass can only play A.
